Fighting Style: Famous for the creation of Bull Horn Formation
The Bull Horn Formation was created by Shaka Zulu and was an ingenious way of fighting that put his armies way ahead of their opponents. The army forms a body, horns and loins. The body was a dense group in the middle that consisted of the toughest men and was used to charge the opponent with a lot of heat. The horns would then sneak on either side of the opponent's army and attack from behind. The loins are an army that hangs towards the back waiting to jump in if reinforcements are needed. By keeping them on reserve, it allows them to stay fresh and prevents fatigue during day long battles. This strategy was so successful that it was used by various other countries as a cornerstone in their battle techniques. This was a monumental move for the image of Africa as a whole as it proved that its countries were places of ideas and innovation.
